Vishwa Kannada Samelana

Kannada Samelana held in Belgavi. Presidents and various dignitaries of Kannada Associations world over and Gnanapeet award winners, Nada Kavi’s, film personalities attended the program. The program Karnataka Government and the Dept of Kannada & Culture extended invitations to all the overseas Kannada Association to be a part of the Vishwa was inagurated by Mr. Yediyurappa the Chief Minister of Karnataka. Chief Guest were Mr. Narayana Murthy, Mrs. Aishwarya Rai, Mr. U.R. Ananthamurhty. Mr. Anil Kumble, etc. The program was the brain child of Mr. I.M. Vittala Murthy Director Kannada & Culture who later along with Mr. Girish Kasarvalli agreed to be our Chief Guests for Rajothsava Celebrations.

I as President of Kuwait Kannada Koota attended the program and met all the dignitaries. I extended an Invitation to Mrs. Sudha & Mr. Narayana Murthy to be the Chief Guest for our Kannada Rajyothsava celebrations and was assured of their visit. This materialized in 2012.
