Marala Mallige Day

The literary wing of the Koota headed by the Marala Mallige committee conducted Marala mallige Day on 18-05-2012 at Carmel School, Khaitan. Eevening snakcs and tea were served which marked the beginning of the programme. Women participated in the interesting vegetable cuttings decoration competition. There were Folk dances, debate by Mrs.Suguna Mahesh & team. The most interesting quiz was conducted by Mr.Raghavendra flown in from Bangaluru..The topic was kannada & Karnataka history. He also did shadow play. The winning team was rewarded by attractive prizes. Mr.Suresh Rao Neramballi & team released the Marala Mallige sanchike. The event was concluded with the dinner.
