Rajyotsava Celebrations

57 th Kannada Rajyotsava was held on 9-11-2012 at Istikbal Ballroom of Hotel Ramada.

The event began at 4 PM with registration and welcoming guests by the PR committe lead by Mrs.Mallika Ravi & team. Chief guest of the event was Padma Vibhushana Mr.NR Narayana Murthy founder chairman,Emiratus ,Infosys Technologies Ltd. Bangalore. Stage programme was hosted by dr Vivek wani. Mr,Murthy was honored by decorating him with traditional Mysore Peta by KKK office bearers Dr.Surendra Nayak, Mrs.Pushkala Ganeshan, Mr.Ram Kumar & Dr.Nagesh Babu S. Mr.Murthy lauded the sacrifice of Kannadigas working in Kuwait away from the motherland.

Mr.Ahthe med Fauzi Mussad AL Saleh Kuwait Computers & Mr.Juzair Ali Pro sports,Mr.Srinivasan SNN builders Bangaluru were guest of honor.

Members & children entertained with Raj Vaibhava – A Tribute to legendary cenestar Natasarvabhouma Dr.Rajkumar .

Mythological & devotional episodes of Bedara Kannappa,Bhaktha Kumbara ,SriKrishna Devaraya,family drama Namma samsara and couple dances for the romantic cinema songs were the highlights.

Mr.Ashok basthi (Jr.Rajkumar) mimic entertained by dances and singing like dr.Rajkumar.

Programme concluded with raffle draw followed by dinner .

There was a lecture in the morning at Gulf University auditorium by NR Narayana Murthy on the topic entrepreneurship which was well attended over 800 crowd from various associations in kuwait.HE ambassador of India to Kuwaut Sri.Satish Mehta referred Mr.Murthy as one of Indian heroes who gave billion people a faith that one can achieve anything.

Previous night a luncheon event was held at Hotel Crown Plaza for invited guests from Kuwaiti community and sponsors.
