Keeping in mind the youth of the Koota, the Executive Committee organised a special talk on the topic “ Studies in USA”. This was presented by Mr. Iyengar and proved very useful for the youth of the Koota for further study in the USA.
In response to our Prime Minister’s appeal through His Excellency, The Indian Ambassador to Kuwait, the Koota members contributed generously for the ‘Gujarat Relief Fund’.
Perhaps the year 1999 will best be remembered, at least in India, for 2 major events – the Kargil intrusion and the Orissa Cyclone.
